Velvet Rose was founded in 2015 by Elena Marchetti, a veteran colorist who trained in Paris and Milan before bringing her vision to New York's Upper West Side. Her goal was simple: create a space where world-class technique meets genuine hospitality.

What started as a boutique studio with three chairs has grown into a full-service luxury salon employing eight specialist artists — each an expert in their discipline. We are proud of every client who walks out our door feeling transformed.
