Booking & Appointments

How do I book an appointment?

You can book through our online form on the Contact page, call us at +1 (212) 555-0182, message us on WhatsApp, or email hello@velvetrosenyc.com. We confirm all bookings within 2 hours during business hours.

How far in advance should I book?

For color services, we recommend booking 3–5 days in advance. For bridal packages, please book 4–6 weeks ahead. For haircuts and express treatments, same-week bookings are usually available. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability.

Can I request a specific stylist?

Absolutely. You can request any member of our team when booking. We'll do our best to accommodate your preferred specialist. Note that popular stylists like Elena and Sophia may have a longer lead time.

What is your cancellation policy?

We kindly ask for 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations (under 12 hours) may incur a 50% service fee for booked time. No-shows are charged the full service amount.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Yes! Walk-ins are always welcome subject to specialist availability. For complex color services we strongly recommend booking in advance to ensure your preferred stylist is available and can allocate the proper time.

Services & Products

What products do you use?

We exclusively use professional luxury brands: Kérastase and Olaplex for hair, La Mer and Dermalogica for skincare, OPI for nails, and Moroccanoil for styling. All products are professional-grade, cruelty-free, and sourced ethically.

How long do hair color results last?

Balayage and highlights typically last 8–12 weeks before a refresh is needed. Full color lasts 4–6 weeks at the roots. We'll advise you on the ideal maintenance schedule for your specific treatment during your consultation.

Do you offer allergy testing?

Yes. We recommend a patch test 48 hours before your color appointment if you have sensitive skin or have not had a color service with us before. Please mention any known allergies when booking.

Pricing & Payment

Are prices quoted in the consultation?

Yes. All prices on our menu are starting rates. After your consultation, your stylist will provide an exact quote before any service begins. You'll never be surprised by a bill you weren't expecting.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and cash. Gift vouchers can also be redeemed in person. We do not accept personal checks.

Do you offer a satisfaction guarantee?

Absolutely. If you are not 100% satisfied with your service, contact us within 7 days and we will rebook you with your original stylist at no charge to correct or refine the result. Your happiness is our priority.
